About the Game
Set in 1970s, you receive a letter from an old friend about a forgotten painting collecting dust in an abandoned house. Plan is simple — steal it, sell it, and split the cash. But as you step inside, you realize some things are left untouched for a reason.
NOTE:
1.
Some players reported that they couldn't find the other ending, and that's my fault. That ending is the 'clever one,' where the player simply ignores the game's rules from the start, goes in another direction, and skips the entire story. Thanks for the feedback!
2.
Some player reported that they have experienced certain sound problems, by that I mean there not being any sound at all, and they fixed it by sliding volume slider in the pause menu all the way up, then it should work, I'm sorry it happened and I'll try to fix it as soon as I can, thanks for feedback!

What a solid game this was! Loved the whole thing throughout. I did indeed encounter the no audio bug not knowing how to fix it. But apart from that, not bad. Made a video on it.
Thank you very much!
Good game!
Thank you very much!

This good game and interesting storyline
Enormous thanks for playing my game and making a video out of it, wish you all the best!
Thank you so much for playing and making a video on my game, loved your commentary!
loved
I forgot to thank you here when I did on the YouTube video, sorry for that, just wanted to thank you once more for making a video on my game!
I had lots of fun playing this game! It took me about 20 minutes to complete with both of the endings.
Thank you so much for playing!
Hii! I am looking for experience to create my own portfolio! Are you interested in an Italian localization of this game?
I would be very happy to share my linguistic skills with you creators! 🤗
Discord: tonseisha
Thank you for offer but sadly, my game was made in a way that localization would require complete structure change that would take a lot of time and effort and I'm sorry things are that way but I really really hope you find a project to work on to build your portfolio, from your posts I see you messaged quite a few game developers and I recommend doing it even more, someone will need a localization. Wish you all the best and really hope you will find some work! Making moves is only right way to succeed in anything you're doing!
Hey tonseisha,
If you find anyone who needs localization, can you hit me up please? I need some games to localize to Turkish, so we are on the same road.
It would be really meaningful!
Good luck to both of you!
Pretty good! atmosphere and graphics were really great! i assume your first language isnt english (it isnt mine either), there are a few typos and minor non game breaking bugs but i still decidedly loved it, took me about 15 minutes to finish but i didnt get ending 1
First of all, thanks for playing, and you are right, English isn't my first language and I know there are some mistakes and inconsistances regarding the grammar and I really hope they haven't ruined your and immersion of other players, and I'm really sorry for that, thanks for your compliments and kind words, wish you all the best!
Thanks for playing and making a video on it! Wish you all the best
Neat game and it was very good game I liked it anyway well done keep it up!
Thank you! Wish you all the best!
Wow! That's was great) Nice game.
but sounds are not calibrated.
by the way - hvala puno!
Thanks a lot, nema na cemu, hvala tebi na komentaru i tome sto si odigrao igricu!
Thanks for playing and sorry for the sound problem since it seems there isn't any in the video, all the best!
no problema...i like story ! sound no important !
Really enjoyed the whole aesthetic of the game! I got it done in 20min - Not sure if this was a demo, maybe the player goes back into the house during midnight later on? There's a lot of ideas you can work with 👍
I have to mention that I initially thought the game had no sound till I pressed ESC and put the slider all the way up; the slider also once again went all the way down at a random time when I was exploring the cave, so I put it back up again, not sure what triggered it, maybe some spike lags, although I've experienced those in Unity games before. Best of luck! ❤️
Thank you so much for playing my game and making video on it, thanks for the feedback and ideas too!, Few people complained about sound already and I think it's best to fully scrap it in the future since most indie stuff doesen't even have that slider and I've proven myself to be unable to code it as it's supposed to be :). I'm really glad and thankful for your compliments and video, all the best, and once again, thank you!
No problem! I've had some sound problems myself in videos like crackling and pops - it's very frustrating dealing with audio it seems like the problem is always hiding behind several layers of random things you may never think of. IMO controlling the sound is actually useful; I've noticed when someone encounters a small inconvenience regarding a game (take the sound slider) - they want to get it fixed on the SPOT; yes you can just press windows key and slide the audio mixer, but people might think alt tabbing breaks games (and it does with some I can't lie) so they'd rather hit esc quit and have the volume right in their face boom problem fixed 3 buttons - esc click volume esc again to resume.
I think you got the slider working fine, but I am sure there's some conflicting code that resets it back (maybe when you straight alt-f4, maybe when you go to a different room etc. or the x position of the slider changes back because the player's got a different resolution on the monitor - you gotta think outside the box - there's tons of stuff players can do which will always reveal some 'bugs', hence it's great you release it now and people can report if they encounter it and how they did.
If you really find coding the slider hard then you can just make a small change to it, instead of being a slider (you can still draw it as a slider) make some big dots along the line like (O-O-O-O) each dot represents volume percentage (0-25%-50%-100%) just keep it simple like that, just a click of one dot and it changes the volume. Anyways sorry for the big walls of text, hopefully you can get something out of it 🥰 Keep up the good work!
Not a problem at all, thank you for your time you took to write this and help me, I'm really grateful and it's nice idea about let's say 4 dots representing 25% of the volume each, it would be easier than the whole mathematics thing counting and calculating I did and cought myself with in this project, I will try and make it better, more responsive in the future. All the best!
Thank you Vuk. Have played both of your games now! Enjoyed both. Thank you for your contributions. Have a good one.
Thank you so much! really glad you enjoyed them!
Immersive atmosphere, an adventurous and creepy tone with the elements of suspense and exceptional gameplay, yet still not as good as your first game.
Starting with the negatives, there was an issue with sound. I kept putting the volume up and all the effects were just minimal. Once I put the volume down, everything was gone, so I had to keep my volume as high as possible. Like with the first game, I will say again - No Motion Blur. I am not against using it in the higher res games, but it doesn't suit the PSX style and really struggles to perform well. The optimization with this one was bad compare to your previous game, although tolerable enough to finish the game and find the second ending. And finally, I wasn't a huge fan of the way a character was directed to look for stuff in the room, then go to another room and suddenly the previous room changes, but that's a subjective matter.
As for the positives, the game shines and immerses the player deeply using an exceptionally build environment and atmosphere. The sound design (not including the volume bug) was so believable and the forest looked gorgeous. I could wonder around it for hours. The story seemed really direct and ominous, giving more creepy vibes and the traditional horror vibe. Overall, I think this is a great entry with some flaws that can be easily fixed.
Best of luck with the future games Vuk. Hope to see something fresh and different next time as well.
Thanks for commenting and compliments, and massive thanks for feedback regarding the bugs, I'll check the sound thing as it probably isn't a big deal to fix, regarding level design, you are right, I guess I just wanted to have player long enough in the house to be able to let's say "appreciate" work I've put into models and textures and stuff.Regarding motion blur I haven't added any and I'm really not sure why does it looks like there is, probably some dithering artifact or something I'm really not sure and I'm going to look for solution, and again, thank you very much! My game development journey probably wouldn't even go anywhere if it wasn't for you and your video on the first game, and thank you for it! And I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it as much as the first one, all the best.
You are very generous, thank you for providing us with great content. I really liked this one and I did enjoy myself, like I said, I prefer the first game, but that doesn't take away the credit from this one. I think you have a huge potential and I am eagerly waiting for the next game, which will be awesome.
It was fun.
Thank you for compliments and for playing my game!Glad you enjoyed it! All the best.
good vibes and atmosphere ! nice job ! i wonder what was inside the last locked door..
Thank you, I gave my best to make atmosphere and ambience as good as possible and I'm glad to hear I managed to do it, all the best and thank you!
Thank you very much for playing and making a video on my game, huge thanks and all the best!
This game is a vibe man, good job
Thank you very much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the game, I did my best to make it as good as possible.
Thank you!
From your last game I can see you made many progress! Keep it up :)
This was an incredible experience, and I truly enjoyed it. It's exactly what I expected from Vuk, given his previous game, which was really good. This one is even better, and the improvements are significant.
Thanks for the compliments! Tho I think you praised me a bit too much :)
There will probably be some bugs and issues that me and playtesters didn't notice so I would really appreciate it if you could write what you would/wouldn't change and what you liked/didn't like. And how was your overall experience, And I'm more than happy to answer any question you might have!
Thanks for your time!
Nice game, you can see improvments after the 1st game , this one is much better than last one.its just great horror game to play.
Thank you very much!I'm glad that I was able to learn and to fix some of the first game's issues and I'm more than happy to improve even more in my next projects!
