You are right, thanks for the compliments and feedback, the thing is, game was made for a game jam (competition of same themed games) and I had just over a week to make the whole thing, making my own models, writing scripts fixing bugs eetc. I just didn't have the time to make something with a bit more sense even tho I had it in mind, thanks once again and wish you all the best!

Reverend is a very short horror experience. The game leads you through a brief journey, and the only notable moment is the jump scare at the end, which did catch me off guard a little. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much else to the experience. Not much happens throughout the game, leaving little room for a deeper impression. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I was hoping for more in terms of gameplay and story development.

The story is really engaging and kept me thinking about what did our character do that was so terrible, but none of the answers I’ve made we’re answered. I guess that adds to the mistery of the place, but I didn’t really feel like the story elements were communicated well with what the game presents. The endings are also kind of rushed. What happened after the bible was open? What happened to the guy? Who was he? I know you can work on that well for a sequel ;)

Absolutely loved the setting and game aesthetic. Definitely, need more western style horror games! Ending was a bit abrupt, but I really enjoyed the game~
