I'm going to leave a whole review on this game as a person who really lost his father due to alcoholism.
I love the THINGS this game has. There are artistic choices that I noticed instantly; not only the way the flowers are portrayed on the walkthrough, but the fact that everything is made of cardboard. As kids, we don't understand some stuff; we smell flowers because we like them, we play with our soccer ball because we are familiar with it, we like the sky and dirt because we understand it.
How would a kid understand alcohol??
It's just... Something. Cardboard. I like that type of artistic choices this game has.
And the way everything keeps getting dark or ‘cloudy’, but the cardboard is still the same bcuz we're still kids, and no-one is explaining anything to us; and the way we start GETTING SCARED OF OUR DAD not because he's a bad person, but because we're scared of what he's doing. The jumpscare parts are only attached to drunk situations.
This game is quite disturbing, and it makes it comfortable. It's not only understandable, but real; this is the perspective of a kid, a real one. At least mine, at least for me, and that makes it the most short—beautiful gameplay I did this month.
And for the fact, I did NOT experienced bugs or problems with the game. IT'S SOOO WEEEELL DOOONEEEE AND DEVELOPEEEEED I LOVE IIT, CHEFF KISS.
This is the first game of Vuk Dobric I play, and I'm willing to reach new and old stuff ! ☀️
Thank you for this truly, truly amazing and heartfelt review, first of all, sorry for your loss, I know how it is since alchocol is one of the reasons I lost my father too, second, I'm really glad that you noticed some of the details most players doesn't seem to, like flowers on the pathway becoming worse and worse as the "tineline" progresses etc. etc.
Haha, I gotta admit that it was one of the last things I made since I realized game has almost 0 horror in it, so I went for a good old jumpscare, glad that it worked! Best to you!
Haha, I did my best to make something like literal cardboard cutout figure in a world of floating houses feel and cause some emotions, really glad that it worked!
I really enjoyed this game! Watching the downward spiral of a father struggling with alcoholism was really sad to watch when I thought the game was going to be happy! lol
I agree with previous comments, this was very different from what I’ve seen from you, but I like different! This was well done with no noticeable bugs or issues, so great job!
Needless to say...I got sad. And missed the small jumpscare XD but all in all I liked it a lot! It was different from the other game of yours but still very much liked it!! Will check out the rest of the games cuz there is some good stuff u got 10/10
This is my 2nd game by Vuk and it is a FANTASTIC contrast to 'Digging Hours'. The gripping and tragic story of a Father and Son. Going through the mind and down 'Memory Lane', the experiences, the emotions and for a short game, the jump scares are a welcome addition to show the fear of losing someone so close, watching their spiral into depression and someone one that means much to the main character. The Dreamcore style mixed with the 'illness' that is involved and eeriness about it really makes for a beautiful game.
I really love the experimentation in this game! It's honestly pretty cool to see the game's initial upbeat atmosphere slowly turn into one that was dark! I think you did a pretty good job in incorporating new elements in this game compared to your previous entries! Keep up the great work!
Very different kinda "horror" but I liked it a lot! Great job! I finished the game but I am not sure what happened at the end. Just a long black screen. Your's is the 2nd game of the 3 played.
Huge thanks for playing my game! Yep you got all of the references right and im really really glad and happy that you liked my game and got whole idea of the game right!!
Massive thanks for playing my game and making a video on it! Its more psychological horror , and im really really glad that you enjoyed playing my game! Best to you!!
The game keeps resetting the resolution to 1080p every time a die or dialouge happens and my pc is shit so it makes me stream lag every time please fix@@}}_{
real real sorry to hear it, it is an oversight in my code since I didn't make it remember set resolution, really sorry again and as soon as I'm back on my pc I'll fix it and update the game, thanks for pointing it out!
I liked this! Took me a moment to figure out the "ending passage" but I like the visual representation of the relationship to the dad and the unique artstyle made me connect with the short story more than I expected! Good job over all, more power to you and keep experimenting!
Whole game is basically character memories of his childhood and his father. His father was an alchocolic and he killed himself , but his son didn't became something like him. Hope this helps, I used translator to trabslate your question so I hope it did a good job, best to you!

A cardboard cutout pulled on my heart strings this day. May that be remembered as the first time for me...

Big thanks for playing my game and making a video on it!! Im really happy that you liked it!!!
Interesting game! Reminds me a lot of my Good Wife/Husband series. Except in here you don't play as the wife/husband and as such, you play the victim.
Nice references, caught a Trainspotting one and Sopranos one. Pulp Fiction, and I think RDR2?
Speaking of memory lane, it really brings me back to the years I'd make short little experimental games like this.
Huge thanks for playing my game! Yep you got all of the references right and im really really glad and happy that you liked my game and got whole idea of the game right!!
